I’ve always been a bit afraid of Turkey and Iran, but your summations have made me see those countries, and others, in a different light. I don’t think I’d ever travel as a lone woman to either of those places still though, but would be happy to be accompanied by a male friend. But I’m going to start my journies much closer to home for now. I’m slowly catching up to the present with your vids and enjoying every second 🫶🏻

Despite I understand that all the tops of such kind are compiled by a travellers personal experience.
I have to say. You think that the travellers and the locals relationship are out of politics — until the politics falls down from the sky to your house converting it in a heap of bricks. Converting you friends to memories an photos. Spliting you life into the life before the war and the surviving after the war starts.
I will never visit Iran. Just because the iranian drone blown up the building 500 meters far from me. And because the Iranians are proud of their country.
I do not want to visit Tajikistan as they are in the alliance with Ruzzia, and they attacked democratic Kyrgyzstan with heavy weapon.
You never think about the politics until the politics ruins your life.
So crazy how we have been brain washed by the powers that be and the media over the years. Some of those countries mentioned I'd of been terrified to go to. And the people seemed so absolutely generous and amazing. Great job you 2. Love your productions!

I want to cycle in Georgia as I love their choirs, Iran for hospitality and Turkey because my sister married Vedat (a playboy) and Turks are proud; the "Stans" are alluring too. Maybe 4 months cycling Eastern Europe next month will not be enough.
