I have a friend that needed a bike for triathlons. I had a 94 Merlin that I couldn’t ride at the time, so I lent it to her. I told her to tell the folks at the bike shop that she bought it at a yard sale for 50 bucks when they ask her how she came by it. They didn’t believe her.

Not bad. If you put a some time and a few dollars into it you might be able to make a solid starter bike. See how you like it and then maybe upgrade to a custom ride👍
