Front brake vibrations
Hey, looking for advice on how to manage front brake vibration on my Canyon Grail CF SL 7. I’m the owner from June, recently did the guarantee service in one of the partner’s shop. The problems I have are all related with front brake. They checked all things but it still persist. When I’m braking especially in low speeds, or at the end of longer braking when the speed drops, I feel strange vibrations on the handlebar and lever. Strangly enough, on high speeds there is completely no problem with braking. 2nd thing is that, on sharp turning the disc is rubbing on brake caliper. It has been checked by 2 bike shops, and they just said it is how it works and it will stay like this, cause this is normal. The wheels are DT Gravel LN, brakes Shimano GRX600.
Please share some thougths, as I really don’t want to send the bike back to Canyon for service.

Your pads c/b contaminated, worn, dirty, or not yet broken in…or your rotor may be slightly warped, dirty, or the lock ring not tight or not mounted right, the brake mount may be loose or off center, or the system could need to be bled, or even the axle might not be tight enough. These are the most common reasons and I’d start by cleaning rotor with alcohol and running a alcohol soaked rag through the brake pads, you can also use fine grain sandpaper to clean and level pads that still have good life in them. After this, do repeated hard stops to seat the cleaned pads. If all the above fails, it could be your wheel is slightly out of true or perhaps your tire is mounted off slightly. I’m surprised the bike shops couldn’t find the problem, but these guys aren’t always on the ball or engineering PhDs🙄. Often it’s a very minor thing, but it’s hard for me to tell without hands-on.
