As the title states, I’m in the market for a new bike and am targeting the Endurace. I like both these options, color choice, components etc…. The CF Di2 has almost everything I’d want minus the powermeter. The SLX has the powermeter but no carbon wheels.
I’ve never had electronic shifting before but have heavily researched both. I know 105 Di2 shifts a bit better esp the front deraileur, while the AXS is fully wireless, doesnt need dongles to update the hoods or enable bluetooth etc.. I’m coming from 12 year old tiagra/105 setup on my bike so I know both will be leagues better than what I am used to.
I guess the main question is, is it worth trying to wait for the SLX especially with the looming tarrifs likely forcing prices up or do I pull the trigger now on the Di2 version?
