As long as you got the glass out, no. Tire is fine. Drag a tissue around the inside of the tire and see if it snags on anything to make sure that was the only piece, shards of glass aren’t usually on their own.

Glass doesn’t always do this, but look at the tire from the inside and see if there is a rip that goes through the entire tire. If there is a rip, the tire’s days are now numbered. You can attempt to patch the tear, but it will now have an opportunity to grow.

Bit of super glue in the hole if you have any concerns but it should be fine.

Hi! Shelley Lynn Jackson & Ethan Clark discuss this on page 40 & 41 of Chainbreaker! Even though, this isn’t quite a sidewall puncture…
“Booting”. I offer this in addition to the many other excellent answers!! Manifesting good things for your bicycle tire that undoubtedly has many miles left.

Nope that hole is not a problem for your tire. Just make sure no glass is left

If you’re really worried OP get a tire boot. It’s a sticker that patches the tire from the inside.

Absolutely not, my tires probably have 3 grams of glass in them right now.

Just replace the tube and you’ll be good to go!
