Episode 146 – Cwmcarn Paragon CC Annual 50-Mile Reliability Ride

Welcome to Episode 146 of the Age Group Triathlete!

In this episode, we join the Cwmcarn Paragon Cycling Club for their annual 50-mile reliability ride – a classic test of endurance, group riding skills, and winter resilience.

The ride set off promptly at 9am from the Cwmcarn Paragon CC Clubhouse and took us through some scenic and challenging roads across South Wales.

The route included:

Newport → Caerleon → Usk → Raglan → Llanellen → Goytre → Pontypool → Newbridge → back to the Clubhouse

It was a day of strong legs, great company, and beautiful Welsh countryside – the perfect way to kick off the season.
