The weekend started in Southport. Tommy got 5th in his first race as an under 16 which we are super happy with as it’s a really strong field in the North West plus his wheels were catching. Stanleys first race also went well in the U14 category after a few battles coming 17th just missing out on 16th.
The second race for us this weekend as we travelled to Tameside Circuit near Manchester. The racing didn’t disappoint with both races pace being fast. Stanley was first up in the under 14s battling away in the front group for twenty plus laps before falling off and going it alone until a couple of laps before the end. He finished 14th, one lap down but had lapped everyone behind him 👌❤️💪🏻. Tommy was up next fighting against 4 Manx riders and 3 from Clifton. Both teams tried their hardest to send a man up the road but Tommy hung on even attacking several times. He came in 4th overall with a feisty sprint at the end to hold off other competitors. 💪🏻👍🏻❤️ All in all a great start to the BC season, met some nice folks and made some new friends and importantly had a lot of fun along the way.
