I saw this kona on cl for $100 a couple years ago and I couldn’t say no. I swapped the 3×7 that was originally on there with a 1×9 using an old shimano m750 groupset and a deckas chainring. Added some riser bars and new tires. Feels like a new bike. Will be used for city cruisin, grocery getting, coffee breaking, pup trailer pulling mostly

Beautiful ! I just bought a Kona Koa and I want to switch to a 1×9 as well, was it a hard fix ?
Amazing color.
Not a huge fan of 1-bys but it looks tasteful and uncommon. I wish we saw more Kona, Marin, and Cannondale on this sub instead of GTs and low spec Specialized ad nauseam.
