ok so every since i got my new fork (sunday darkwave) it's been a real challange to remove/ install my sunday freeze stem
when i try to put the stem on my old fork it goes on without much effort but with the new one the only way i've managed to do it is by removing the bolts of the stem and wedging in a screwdriver to widen it
by doing this multiple times i've already banged up the stem quite a bit it still works fine but i wanted to see if there is a less harmful way to do this as i want to experiment with different stack heights with my new bar
thanks

Stick a penny or a length of steel thin enough between the stem split, take out the bolts thread them in from the otherwise pressing against the penny or plate, it’ll push the stem wider.
