I'm thinking about installing a bashguard on my eMTB. It's a Focus Sam2 6.7 with Bosch Gen4 motor. Are these holes there to install a bashguard? Is one even needed, as the bootom of the motor kinda covers the chain?

Those do not look like ISCG tabs.
They look like torx screws that probably hold a cover on or hold the motor? But I also don’t have an ebike
