Finally finished my budget commuter bike. It started life as an early 2000s 28’ hybrid with V-brakes and a 3×8 drivetrain. It has ISO mounts so disk swap (MT200) was a breeze. Swapped out the wheels for a set of 27,5 disk wheels i got secondhand, fitted with some amazing 50mm gravel tires, difference in ride quality is night and day. Also swapped in a drivetrain i got from my mtb which i upgraded, along with some new 2x cranks. Drilled out the housing stops and ran full length outer, as this bike is stored outside. still looking to swap out the fork for something rigid and a bit lighter, as well as get another FD because the cage on this one is a bit small.

Not knowing whether it qualifies *is* exactly why it qualifies. Nice rig, enjoy and ride safe!
