Quelle course ! Quel spectacle ! Et quel coureur ! Pour la deuxième fois de sa carrière, après 2023, Tadej Pogacar a remporté le Tour des Flandres ! Auteur d’une course ultra agressive, comme à son habitude, le Champion du Monde de la formation UAE Team Emirates XRG a martyrisé ses adversaires, dont Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck). Le Néerlandais a fini par craquer à 18 kms de l’arrivée, et le Slovène s’est envolé dans le Vieux Quaremont. MVDP n’a pas pû aller chercher mieux que la 3e place, battu par Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) dans le sprint pour la 2e place. Wout Van Aert est 4e.

To be honest I am bored of him now and very unsure as to how one lightweight man can be so much stronger than the rest. To ride on the front like that drop them all and then stay away when you have others working together behind. It just doesn't add up really.
