Looks bent from the crazy picture but… you need to put a DAG on it to see for sure!

It definitely looks bent to me. I haven’t seen this specific hanger before but going by what I can see in the picture it could also be cracked. This most likely happened in transit as you mentioned. If it isn’t cracked then your lbs should be able to straighten it fairly easily, but if it is you’ll need to get in touch with the supplier and warranty it.

100% bent…
you can either align it or replace it.
Probably not a bad idea to pick up a replacement dropout regardless…
There are 2 types of derailleur hangers…
Those that have been bent & those about to get bent.

I almost wondered if this question is sarcastic? Yep, look at that hanger: it is most definitely bent, and extremely so.
Odd / unexpected on a new bike, but shit can happen at the shop or in shipping. If you bought this at a local shop or online, bring it to their attention: someone ought to get you a new hanger.
However, to get on the trail asap, I’d just order one or more replacement hangers: one to use and one in spare for when the next (inevitable) crash occurs.

That’s why they are replaceable
