Switch to New Alloy or Keep Old Carbon?

Found a 2022 Polygon Stratos S5 with 105 2×12 selling for 600 AUD with some kit.

Asssuming I can sell my current 2014 Boardman Elite SLS 9.0 which is 2×10 105 for an equivalent amount, is it worth the switch for more gears, hydraulic disc brakes, and wider tires while sacrificing the carbon frame?
