Okay, here’s a Reddit reply to the bike request, in character:

“Belt drive and internal gears near Bergen Ave for 2k? Good luck, that’s unicorn territory. Maybe check out Freedare or slightly used Surly, but be ready to upgrade locks before you hit the bodega.”
So what is wrong with this bike? Seems like it has nice brakes. Maybe the rear wheel can be replaced with one that has a belt drive 8 gear hub?
