I bought both, the new Ortlieb Quick Rack “L” as well as the og model. I’m using the new Ortlieb “M6 through-axle” to mount it. The og is touching the fender very slightly. The wheel rolls perfectly. Which one would you keep? Lower center of gravity with the og or extra clearance with the new “L” Quick Rack?

I would put maxe weight on and see if it deforms enough to push down on the wheel, if not add thin foam tape between the fender and rack to prevent rattling.
Idk, the L version still seems pretty legit.
If you think you may move to bigger tires later, maybe keep the L ?
I’m looking to buy a quick rack too, but there is not much infos and specs on the internet, even on ortlieb’s website…
Are you going to attach to the seat post or seat tube? I think the angle would be too great to attach to the seat post with the original rack.
I’d go for the extra clearance.
