If you’re like me you have a stack of old license plates. I used one to patch a hole in the lawnmower a few weeks ago and was thinking this process would be fun on my parts bike. I used tin snips, a drill, self tapping screws, and zip ties and was able to get it all done in about an hour. Feel free to steal this idea!

I did this for an old Honda Trail 90 project around 10 years ago. Molded them to shape using a football, rubber mallet, and a set of tin snips.
