In this episode, Guy Martin takes Morris Lubricants’ Technology Manager, Adrian Hill, through a technical review of his 300 MPH bike and details the Morris Lubricants oil he uses in it. Guy explains to Adrian the modifications he has made to the motorbike, with his aim to reach 300 MPH in a mile. Guy delves deep into the engineering of the bike which has so far helped him get to 276 MPH (officially), but that’s not enough for Guy! Adrian also finds out what Guy has planned next for this massive challenge.

300mph….. sounds less scary than 480kph but both being same, i would evacuate my bowel instantly from fear at that speed. 😂

Top boy.!
Do you run it on Redex? 😇
Getting a bit long winded
He's an amazing Guy 😀 little thing about lambda though, lambda 1 = stoeich, and stoeich on e85 is around 9.75:1, already plenty more fuel than stoeich on regular fuel which is about 14.7:1 . Going 0.75 lambda means running very very rich, which washes the cylinders and on high boost application also dilutes the oil with fuel by going past the rings due to said washing. I have not experienced better power nor cooler engine going past 0.82 ish. I found the right range for e85 is 0.82 to 0.88. It could also be this lambda value is a specific setting in the ecu that is wrongly worded though. the hardest part of this is making sure the fuel is actually an 85% blend, most of the time e85 at the gas station is between 70 and 85%, so you can either test it and adjust the tune, or buy barrels.
Please teach your camera man to keep the subject center shot.
He’s the man no matter what anybody says , sheer legend
