  1. …you should claim the amount for a replacement from the truck driver or their insurance? Or get a call with a lawyer? You filed the police report right? Get your hospital bills and new bike funds from that oblivious canyonero driver.

Glad it wasn’t worse, the bike can always be replaced but you can’t. Definitely get informed on your next steps moving forward and make sure your bike is replaced and you’re compensated for any loss of work or medical expenses.

    Good luck! 👍🏻

Getting a police report is step one. Then you contact a lawyer. This guy RAN YOU OVER. He should at the very least be paying your medical bills and the cost of a new bike. That’s why a lawyer gets involved

  4. Damn it. That is awful man. That color is amazing. I am sorry you are hurt, but you walked away from it. File a police report, ensure the driver files a claim with their insurance company. You are entitled to replacement cost for your bike, plus covering all of your medical bills. They are also responsible for any loss of income you may experience from this incident. Dont sign anything without an attorney. A bike is a first class citizen on the road. Same as a motorcycle or a car. Any hint of delay or BS from the insurance company, immediately engage an attorney. In fact, I would probably go ahead and hire one now. Make sure you also get a Varia or another camera. Preferable one for the front too.

Put that in the garbage. Claim it on that drivers insurance/ get a lawyer.

  6. As others said. There should have been police involvement if you’re injured. In my state, that’s a reportable crash and requires police response. You should also have all of the drivers information and insurance. Hospital bills, bike receipts and other possible costs should be payed out by the drivers insurance. Wouldn’t hurt to get a lawyer since you don’t have an insurance company battling the other insurance company for payments.
