Went today along the Canal du Midi to Carcassonne. Cycle path along the Canal is good, some part bit small or gravel. Many locks. Carcassonne is a very well preserved medieval town. A bit tatty in places with tourist shops, elevated coffee prices. Square in new town, down the hill very nice relaxed atmosphere. Good weather.
