Definitely better deals but that’s still a good bike

You could buy a brand new bike for that price. Crazy deals with online retailers rn

Not horrible deal, but you can prob find something similar new for $2k-2.5k on sale and have some peace of mind with a warranty. Lots of bike retailers are offering 40%+ off, especially on the aluminum bikes like the one you’re looking at. Also, 27.5 are usually marked down most as most people have switched back to 29’ers after the brief 27.5 hype a few years ago.

Assuming this is in AU, that doesn’t look horrific price-wise.
Also looks like it’s hardly been ridden.
Just check the suspension pivots for play, but bushings and bearings are cheap – just a pain to replace.
Make sure the shock isn’t leaking and holds air, plus the stanchions on the fork are in good order.
Maybe ask when the last suspension service was done.

It’s in AUD, Seller is living in a high value part of Melbourne Peninsula, Service last done a few months ago and hasn’t been ridden since.

What kind of trails? Slash isn’t really a beginner trail kind of bike.

That price is way, way too high. Should be more like 1200-1500
