This bike has been my daily driver for 3 years and I’ve loved her. What exactly would I be getting if I upgraded to even a $400 bike if this guy is already working perfectly for me?

Nothing. If I were you, I’d spend 1/2 as much just tricking out this one. Maybe a rigid fork, better saddle, some accessories, etc.

Why are you “upgrading” at all if this bike is perfect for you?

Where do you get this deal?

A well fitting and smooth running bike is worth a bit in itself. If it ain’t broke etc. I’d just spend on upgrading parts, as they wear out. Or accessories, like fenders

I’d go for either a more relaxed bike or aggresive bike so you have more options when you ride. What you gain is not needing to change your plans when you find out you have a flat or need to send the bike to the shop.
