I am at my wits end trying to figure this out and my LBS also has not figured out the answer yet.
I have a Burley D’Lite X single trailer, which we currently use with the standard included hitch on the quick release axles of our Giant hybrid bikes.
I just bought a Trek FX2 Stagger at a LBS, where the staff assured me there would be a way to get my bike trailer connected to the e-bike; however, they have since told me that the solution they thought they had, won’t work and are looking for options, but so far they haven’t come up with anything and I would really like to start commuting on my new bike, but I can’t do it unless I can haul my preschooler in the (very expensive; very nice) trailer we already have.
I am not mechanically inclined and looking at all the adaptors and trying to figure out what I would need with the bike and trailer I have is just confusing me at this point. Can anyone help?

I connected [one to my e-scooter](https://paa.neocities.org/img/trailer.jpg); I’m an ***Anything Is Possible*** guy! On my c-bike I use a [frame connector](https://www.amazon.com/Veemoon-Connector-Universal-Attachment-Accessories/dp/B09Y1FRTF3); I don’t like the idea of it being connected to the back axle bolt.
