I have the wrong size wheel for the frame I am about to buy.
The ccr frame is 10mm dropouts and my wheel is 14mm
I’m really stuck because online I can’t find any good brands new or second selling a 10mm rear wheel. Is last picture any good?
Should I sell my rear wheel and keep looking to find a 10mm wheel?
Is it possible to sand or Mabye mold the 10mm dropouts into 14mm dropouts?
I am pretty confused on what to do now.
Help is appreciated
Thanks

Haven’t seen anyone ride 48 spoke wheels since ‘05
Ccr’s are a spec 10mm frame!
Unfortunately no one makes 10mm axled hubs anymore, as they’re not massively used outside of race bmx. The ccr was designed around using a profile hub, with 10mm female bolts.
Do not alter the frame dropouts, there isn’t enough material to alter them safely.
Have a look for female axles rear hubs with 10mm bolts, they’re made way less now, but many earlier cassette hubs were 10mm female.
Male hubs won’t really exist, and those that do are freewheel type cheap hubs and equally aren’t useable anyway in this frame.
Easy, don’t buy that frame and purchase the 14mm version of the C.C.R.
It’s called profile racing baby
Charge your phone.
Just buy 2 front wheels and you got yourself the coolest scooter ever
Get a decent 10mm or 3/8″ rear hub. Theres a few out there, Profile Mini or Elite hubs would be the easiest to find second hand. Other hubs that would fit include: Fly Magneto, Wethepeople Arrow, Relic, Eclat Exile, Halo MXR.
