Good morning, the Specialized Tactic 4 is currently 50% off. Is this a consistent thing or do they just do annual sales? I found a 1yo post saying it was $60.
I ask because my son and I likely won't be getting out on the trail for a few months but we'd like this helmet when we do.

I’ve never seen it at msrp direct from specialized, only from independent retailers, pretty sure it’s always on sale. But you do obviously run the risk of that changing if you wait.

Great helmet. I picked one up at the Specialized booth at Sea Otter last year. Super cheap… like $35. It’s my favorite MTB by far. Good helmet. Don’t hesitate to buy one. They don’t look cheap and they are MIPS. Can’t go wrong.
I’ve got this helmet. It’s pretty good but I find it doesn’t work well with my riding glasses fwiw
I love my Tactic 4. I’m on my second one as the first one did its job in a crash and the ratchet tighten thing stopped tightening.
My big tip is to order a replacement helmet liner when you buy a helmet to save on shipping costs. Then wash and rotate them.
I ride 150-175 days a year so not washing frequently isn’t an option.
I ordered ones of these and the manufacturing date was 2021 so I had to return it. Something to be wary of when buying helmets on sale.
Some items are only on sale through the 7th, I’m not sure if the tactic is included in that but if you need a helmet it’s a good time to buy!
