I mean I’ve bought some vintage bikes for a low price before. Traded free curbside bikes for nice vintage mtbs. Sometimes they don’t mind selling them low. I have a bunch of bikes and I might do that just to get them out already

Pretty sure that it’s stolen because nobody who’s converted a Crossroads to a 1x and has upgraded with anodized parts + a front basket would sell it for that price.
So if you are feeling very ethical then you could do an attempt at finding if it has an owner somewhere closeby, might be able to to turn it into a win-win. If you don’t think its stolen or you can’t find a previous owner then; great find!
