This is intended to be a joke, but cyclists are DEFINITELY stupid enough to buy one of these.

Seatpost isn’t aero enough. And it’s not rocking the 180mm deep rear wheel. Probably can’t even fit 2.4 tires. Pfft.

Where are the aero bars and knobby tires? I wanna go fast on those gnarly descents.

It’s a joke, but some of the midwest USA gravel races this does make sense. They’re not particularly climby and you’re often riding for long periods of time solo, so eking out watts (especially if there’s wind) is a pretty good strategy if you’re looking to win.
It’s so ugly though.

People spend 15k for a pedal bike without pedals?

Do I wear a time trial helmet with this?

I’d give them an extra $2K if they could spell clearance correctly.

One year black diamond, a climbing equipment manufacturer, launched a heated chalk bag, something intended to be a April fools joke. It turned out to be very popular and they actually make them now.

It looks too much like a standard UCI approved frame.

Give it time and I’d bet this will be a thing, although probably without the MTB tire clearance

I can tell it’s fake because the price is too low.

It that was a gravel bike it would insanely uncomfortable!

Only trek (who fumbled on the checkmate tire clearance) would make a joke about an aero bike that clears 60s….

April Fools nonsense.
Round seatpost is a nice touch
