Can you help me identify my frameset?
Hello fellow members! I would like to seek your expertise in identifying my frameset. This was bought online and the seller has no idea of the brand also. He only mentioned that it came from Canada. The frame has an original maroon paint before the previous owner decided to paint it with glittery forest green.
There are no brand decals on the frame. The only clue that I have is a sticker saying "Japan" and a serial number on the bottom bracket which says: M3M07423.
I also did my research on the net but can't pinpoint the specific brand model. My frame is similar to early 80's mtb frames of Specialized, Araya, Maruishi and Kuwahara but the only difference is they have a bulit in rear cable stopper and mine has none. There was no sign that it was grinded down or removed when I stripped the frame's paint to bare metal.
