Hello everyone,
I have a Canyon Grail ON CF 7. I am wondering if anyone has any experience on fitting a rear rack to a Canyon carbon frame. I note that most rear racks advise they should not be used on carbon frames.
The main use of the rack would be for my daily commute to work, I would prefer this opposed to a backpack!
Some of the options I have found are below:
[TETRARACK M2 (Mountain) | Topeak](https://www.topeak.com/us/en/product/1286-TETRARACK-M2-(Mountain))
[ORTLIEB | Quick Rack](https://www.ortlieb.com/en_us/quick-rack+F78104)
[Alloy Rack – Tailfin Cycling](https://www.tailfin.cc/product/pannier-racks/alloy-rack/?wccps_c0=36642&wccpm0=1567077845&wccpl=7&v=796834e7a283)
Alternatively if anyone has any great commuting backpack recommendations I would be happy to here them!
Best Wishes,
Tom

You may want to check out Old Man Mountain racks: https://oldmanmountain.com/product/divide-bike-rack/
They are attached directly to the axle, so you get minimal load on the frame. You need a special adapter axle. I have ones from Robert Axle Project and they are great.
