got a carbon china clone, it was hard getting used to it, so i swap out to my jones.

I like mine after I added some bar ends to the tops so I could ride similar to having hoods on the end. I went with the middle size and I’m happy with them

i have the widest ones on a small karate monkey

i’m obviously not a large person but i have some shoulder width to me – the super wide feels great.

one thing that i don’t think is talked about enough is the stem choice for bars like these.
since the main hand position is a step down in the “drops”, it was necessary for me to get a short mtb stem with a lot of rise to compensate

They are great. I have the smallest one and they are a good fit. I think a smaller is better than to big – the ‘drops’ lean out quite a bit. Use them for bike packing / commuting.

Just a heads up: You need to try different positions/heights/angles. Just a bit off and they feel terrible – I think thats also the reason why a lot of people don’t like them.

I put the small size corner bars on my medium Surly Wednesday for bikepacking and absolutely love them.

Been using them for about a month, they are great, but I had to use 2 stripes for better grip.

I have the narrow one on my Ogre. I love it, but I only use that bike for day adventures. I bikepack on my Krampus and I use a Jones H bar. I will probably never wander from the Jones bar for multi day trips. Just too comfortable.

Regarding the width of the Corner Bar, I like the narrow one. I’m sure the medium width would be fine. I’m tall but narrow shoulders.

  8. i tried them and sold them the same week. it’s a compromise with a lot of downsides.

there is no “hood” position where your hands are comfortable (clamps and tubes hitting eachother in a weird angle), on the top you can’t shift so there is only “in the drops” remaining with levers in weird postions…

i’d avoid these. just go real dropbars, GRX 400 or 600 + shifter don’t cost that much.

Personally, I hate having to use spacers to get them to work with 99% of the stems available out there.
