      Here’s what people really need to know:

      1. MSRP
      2. Bottom bracket, steerer tube, and wheel bearings used (these can be anywhere from cheap to pricey to replace)
      3. Propriety replacement parts, if any. This can affect cost of ownership, servicing downtime due to supply disruptions, and kitting out a bike. For example, forget Red shift posts and bars with most aero designs.
      4. Rider weight limits. Not all bikes are for big boys and girls.
      5. Gearing and gearing options. Aero bikes are typically set up for speed rather than climbs but ease of riding across mixed terrain is depending on range and spread.

      If you are in a bunch group ride,and because most are riding aero bikes,I dont think there is any advantage in aero,except for time trialling

      Here's something that i absolutely hate: Stop using watts as a measure of speed and time as it's neither. Do here's what we can do: Take the Watt nonsense and convert it onto something meaningful for the Average Joe (not everyone has a PhD) like this bike, properly setup will save five seconds off a flat route effort at 40kph for a 75kg rider. Even the folls at Zwift got this right.

      #1 This bike is mostly aimed at pro riders.
      #2 The aero benefits of this bike really only apply at speeds you don't ride.
      #3 While this thing is an absolute marvel of human engineering, you could probably get by with something significantly less expensive without even noticing the difference.
      #4 Consider that gaining 13 watts on your recreational ride on some random Tuesday morning will have little to no effect on how much you enjoy it. How's the wind on Tuesday? How many watts do you think that costs you?
      #5 If you want to ride around as fast as humanely possible tucked down in the drops pushing 350w trying to hold a minimum of 40km/h on your road bike you should absolutely consider this bike, but odds are your pro team has already picked the bike you're riding this season.
