Estate sale pickup today! Must have been sitting in the garage since it was bought new. Threw some new tubes in it and rode it around this evening.
Probably could use some new tires and maybe new bars to get me a little less stretched out lol.

That thing is hot! It still even says “Mountain LX” on the rear derailer. And still has horizontal dropouts, so would be a bomber monster-cross bike if that’s your thing. Those tires look cool, but then you look up close, and maybe not as much….

Nice! I also have a rockhopper (88) in that design.
I think that rear tire is going to give soon. I had a pair of old tanwalls like those and the sidewalls shredded and fell apart in my hands.
