I just inherited this Haro Escape 8.1, circa 2005. I don't know too much about bikes, but I've been watching youtube videos (Wolftick, Berm Peak etc) and slowly learning. One thing I want to do is convert this bike to a 1x drivetrain, just to see how I like it. This bike seems to have quality components, would I be able to just change the chainring and be done with it? I want to do the upgrades in stages, mostly cus I don't want to spend too much at one time. This is an occasional hobby at best.
