Looking at this bike and unsure of price and anything I need to double check outside of the normal things (cracks, dents, signs of impact damage, chainstay, bottom bracket area, and linkages) I rode it and it’s fun and better than what I’m currently riding.

Why shouldn’t I buy this?

Why should I?

Here’s the specs:

Evil Offering size large with rockshox super deluxe rear and Pike upfront. E-thirteen LG1 wheels w/ maxxis minion front, aggressor back. SRAM guide brakes, XO derailleur & crankset. Raceface handlebars/stem & Odi grips. WTB Silverado saddle and One Up dropper post. Carbon frame has been ride wrapped. $2500 or best offer.

V1s had some frame cracking issues you should at the very least look up some stuff about that if you’re considering purchasing it. Along with that, given it’s been consistently used, the frame hasn’t cracked yet so you can guess it might not be apart of the bad batch evil had.

I have this same bike from the same year, the frame of which I bought heavily used on Ebay. I have ridden the hell out of it in Pisgah, loaded it down with bikepacking gear and rode it 300 miles through Arizona backcountry, and generally abused it on whatever steep, rocky nonsense I can find. No cracks. Lots of fun and very confidence inspiring.
That’s a good price for a full build. Buy it.
