Hey guys. I’m on tour and noticed this wobble when I went to a mechanic. He said it’s nothing to worry about for now. But now I’m worrying about it.
I am in turkey and the mechanic spoke no English, so I didn’t dig too deeply into this.
I have literally zero experience when it comes to bottom brackets, I don’t even know what type of bottom bracket I have? Can you tell from this?
Anyway, I will be in Tbilisi in 800km. It sounds like a lot but there’s a very good English speaking bike shop there. My plan is to head there and get it fixed.
I was wondering what you guys think. How bad is this? Am I worrying too much.

Seems like your BB is on its way out. Can’t say if you’ll make the 800km but Godspeed!
On a cup&cone BB, this could have just been a loose BB. But yours looks like a sealed unit, so it’s probably just on it’s last legs. I don’t think it’ll spontaneously, catastrophically break, but you should replace it when convenient.
