I’ve only ridden medium frame mountain bikes, little worried this might feel small. I haven’t ridden a road/gravel bike so hoping to get some opinions on sizing too.

I’m 5′-8″ too with a 30″ inseam. I normally ride 52/52 cm bikes. Have you ridden a drop bar bike before? Are you young, fit and flexible? Then yeah, this bike might fit you. Are you older and hoping to find your fitness? Then hmmm, this bike may initially feel uncomfortable with a long reach to the bars.
Whether or not this is the right bike depends on what you want to do with it. Cyclocross bike make for pretty good all-round bikes for someone that wants a sportier ride. They can handle road and some gravel too, although most cannot handle the larger tire sizes that in fashion right now, and their sporty nature make them less than ideal for doing loaded touring with.
If it fits and matches what you want to get from riding, then it might be worth it.
