  1. Whatever size the numbers on the tire are, not the wheel. Looks like a 26×1.95 presta valve

Likely 26 x 1.5-2.0. The first measurement is your tire size (26in), the second two numbers are the width your tube would fit, 1.5in to 2.0in wide. Best way to know is look at hot patch on tire and find the size

    Does tyre sidewall say anything?
Just from looking at the photo, could it be a 26×1.95 up to a 26x.2.1 tyre??
26being diameter and the other units being width

559mm (16”) wheel with 17mm internal width. Material is 6106 grade aluminum alloy. You should look for 16” MTB tires up to 2.1”…I don’t think 17mm internal width supports wider but I’m not certain.

That back rim looks bent in the braking area…may want to look into a bike shop bending it back straight

  5. In my experience…Get presta tubes with removable cores. Then put something like Stans in the tubes and they will last FOREVER.

If your plan on using tubes. I

My preference for tubes was Kenda tubes when I was running tubes as those were the only ones that I knew had removable cores. Now most of them seem to, but worth checking. But this was a must for me.
