Popped over to St Malo for the day from Portsmouth. Cycled to Cancale without hitting a main road, got some oysters, cycled back, ate a family sized babybel on the beach, washed down with a bottle of local cider. Good times. It was really nice to do this in regular clothing. It just felt like we'd nipped out after work for a local ride instead of going on a 'bike trip' with a set destination and goals.
