I'm about to buy a Lauf Uthald I think! I'm no racer so the ultimate is out of the question. I'm choosing between the weekend warrior and the race wireless package. I do a few centuries a year and am hoping to do a sagged tour of ~1k miles later this year. I like feeling zippy but I'm not trying to break any KOMs on Strava – just riding a few times a week to stay in shape and see my place.

The big differences between these two are obviously the wheels (DT Swiss E1800 vs. Zipp 303s) and the groupset (Rival vs. Force, both wireless). The weight is a big difference too I suppose, but I'm no weight weenie so I'm not sure I care given the numbers. What I'm wondering is if the carbon wheels are worth the price jump (or the groupset, though I gather that's mainly a weight thing?) I've never ridden anything other than aluminum wheels so have a hard time knowing how much to care if I'm not racing. Haven't seen great reviews on the E1800s but no one hates them either. Kind of a standard training/beater wheel.

Welcome any thoughts or questions! Thanks in advance for the help.
