I’ve owned a Merida silex 400 for 2 weeks now, i haven’t noticed anything wrong with it yet but maybe 120km in is too early to say.

The Revolt for me. I have the Advanced version and it makes a solid case for a do-it-all bike. Generous tire clearance, flip chip, comfortable ride, and pretty decent components for a stock built bike that only needs a few upgrades.
You might want to check out the Merida Scultura Endurange GR Merida just released as well.
