The hunt continues for my first big buck bike as I get back into cycling. I’m debating these two options and not sure whaaat to go with… both are in good condition but obviously one is way older than the other but does have its perks such as the carbon frame and hydraulic brakes? Idk I’m still new to this so any help would be appreciated

OR
2022 SPECIALIZED DIVERGE E5 (BASE MODEL): $595USD
“Just took it for a ride today (March 23) and it's a peach. Reason for selling is that I've decided to move up a little into a newer bike with some better components etc. and with purchasing a new one, I can't keep the old one too. I have the receipt for the original purchase and for the tune up too if that matters. It's got some basic pedals on there now which I can happily include or take off if you prefer.”
I am also on the higher end of 5”10 but I hear it’s better to size down on a bike? The 2022 is a L (58cm) and the 2016 is a M (56cm)
