Being a police officer is tough and stressful.
The woman off the bus shouting and screaming and yanking her arms around was totally out of order. If an officer wrongly accuses or arrests you remain calm, if you act like a daft cow you might be called one. Not saying he was right to call her that, but he's in a VERY stressful situation deliberately wound up by this woman behaving like a 5 year old.
As to the batton use I would also say football crowds CAN have large numbers of aggressive and threatening men. These guys DO stab and beat each other after matches and the Police have to step in WITH FORCE to stop people being killed.
Yes the guy maybe shouldnt be an officer or needs serious retraining but I can understand why you'd end up with his confrontational attitude after being in the Met. London is rough let's not pretend officers aren't bullied, harassed attacked and threatened themselves, they are EVERY WORKING DAY. They REGULARLY put up with a lot worse than this women was outraged by – an officer arresting her. But they also need to behave more professionally than this one guy – AND MOST DO.
He's a bully and and should be sacked. Not suited for policing or any position that deals with the public. Has a huge ego.
Maybe the ' daft cow ' could have calmly handed over her Oyster card for it to be checked instead of yelling and screaming. She could then have walked away and got on with her day.

I didnt see anything wrong in that interaction. She evaded fare and she was arrested, and so he was justified to use necessary force to stop her from evading attest, all the while she was trying to get away. Good cop on this occasion. Auditors can be twats sometimes, and it's laughable that they sometimes call themselves investigative journalists.
Should be “helloooo…..sir” as is police policy dealing with the public
