Hell yeah. 5’11” 255 and about to do two days of gravel – 25 miles 3000 feet each. More climbing than I have ever done before but I love being on the bike.

Hey that’s a solid time, I’m a good bit lighter than you and managed the 54 miler in just over 4 hours last weekend. The west Texas wind was brutal and that windmill climb was tough!

    Great job!
I’m a big guy and completely get! Such satisfaction finishing a ride, long or short.

  4. 192cm and 130kg here, managed to do my first 50km rides last weekend.
    This is the way!

  5. Very impressive! I didn’t even know you could get an elevation gain in Texas over 500 ft 🙂

Bro that’s how I used to look on a bike. Keep riding and enjoying the adventure !

When you have a goal everything gets a lot easier. This year I even bought enough winter gear so I could just get out and ride. Now it’s easy – I want to go, I go. Usually at least 🙂

And you made me want to do some new pbs :). Let’s keep up!

Thanks for posting this. As a fellow big guy, I’ve been thinking about signing up for my first race, but I’ve been pretty insecure about it. I think I’m gonna give it a shot 🙂
