I bought this bike to experiment with road cycling. I grew up mountain biking. I paid $600 for it. Maybe that was a rip off, not sure. I’ve learned I love cycling, but I am not sure about the bike. I am trying to decide if I should upgrade it to the Shimano 105 group set (about $400) or bide my time and ride this until I can afford to buy a $2500 used road bike. Essentially, does she have good bones?

What are you not sure about? The fit? The comfort? The frame? The shifting?
If the bike fits and it’s functional, I say keep it.
You did over pay. But it is nice bike. If dont like it stick with MTB. I do MTB and i love road bike for speed
