This is my first time I’m dropping some actual bread on a bike. Found this 2016 Specialized Diverge A1 for $575 CAD so just above 400USD.
Is it worth the price ? Ideally I’d want this bike to last me a good while. Seller says only cosmetic knicks here and there

Its 9 year old bike that was around $900US when it was new. Seems a little overpriced, but I’m not sure how the used market is in your area
Probably a great starter bike and commuter but I’d not pay more than £250 for it in the UK.
I had one of these in 2016. It was a great bike but apart from the fact that it’s used and 8 years old, it’s got the lowest end Shimano road components, and is really quite heavy for a “road” bike (though it’s not outright heavy – just heavy for what it is).
It marketed itself alongside the first “gravel / all road” bikes when that really started taking off, but in reality you’re not gonna get much bigger than 32mm on there.
Edit – misread the currency. It’s not a terrible deal if it’s in good condition but if you can get them down then you should.
