  1. Just keep practicing, instead of turning immediately practice just getting some distance in fakie.

  2. Yes you just have to put your weight a little to the back. When I started learning exits out of fakie I lift the front end since it was easier, now I kinda slide the front end when I exit out off my 180s.

You’ve got a solid nose press, but yea you said it yourself, lean back more. Another tip that helped me when learning these, is look where you want to go. It looks like you want to turn out to the right. So when you want to turn, glance over your right shoulder.

Speed is also your friend when learning to fakie out

  4. When you hit the wall try to lift your back up a little more. and when you’re going into fakie lean back like you are doing a manual ( you don’t have to over exaggerate it). Look over your shoulder and pull. Biggest thing is looking in the direction you want to go just like doing a 180. Stay light on your front wheel.

I been practicing like this too. I’ve found it easier for me to keep my back wheel on the ground and shift my weight forward to absorb the impact, then quickly shift my weight back to spring off the wall and pivot out.

Also I like parking blocks better as you don’t have to worry about bonking your noggin on a wall.
