I've been cooling my jets on more bike projects lately but when this one popped up locally for $5, it was hard to resist! I tried to keep costs down on it and use stuff I already had (I did have to buy tires and a chain), and hence the fork. Got that a while back on marketplace for cheap and while it works well and fits the bike decently, I just have a hard time with suspension (every other bike I own is rigid and I haven't used suspension for 15ish years). Even having to pump it up every few rides is more maintenance than I really want to do. So we'll see if that sticks around. If I had a rigid in proper length, it would already be on there!
Anyways, still a fun bike.

Frame wise you just remove stickers and a good clean? It looks awesomy chromed! How did you achieve that?
What diameter is that dropper post? I don’t think I’ve ever seen one fit a bike this old!
