Traveling from Amsterdam to Paris with FlixBus:
I started my travel at night at 11:30 pm, boarding the FlixBus in Amsterdam for a scenic journey to Paris. The ride was comfortable and smooth, and I reached Paris at 7:30 AM, ready to explore the city.
Morning Arrival in Paris:
Once I arrived at the bus stop, I made my way to my first destination, Notre-Dame Cathedral. I took the bus from the station to get there, which cost me €2.5 for a single journey. The cathedral was breathtaking, and the morning light made it even more majestic.
Exploring Paris by Foot:
From Notre-Dame, I decided to explore the city on foot, taking in the beautiful streets and iconic landmarks along the way. My first stop was Sainte-Chapelle, just a short 800 meters away.
Next, I walked to the Louvre Museum, which was about 1 km from Sainte-Chapelle. The Louvre was a highlight, and although I didn’t go inside due to time constraints, walking through the courtyard and seeing the glass pyramid was still unforgettable.
Afterward, I headed towards the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and the surrounding garden, which was another 600 meters from the Louvre. The garden was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view.
Exploring the Arc de Triomphe:
Next, I took a bus from there to the Arc de Triomphe—about 2 km away. I wandered around the area, checking out stores, bike showrooms, and the unique vibe of the streets. It’s a great spot for some shopping and to immerse yourself in the Parisian atmosphere.
Eiffel Tower Adventure:
Afterward, I decided to walk all the way to the iconic Eiffel Tower, a distance of 2.5 km from the Arc de Triomphe. It was worth every step! Reaching the Eiffel Tower was magical, and if you’re under 24, it only costs €18.20 to access the top floor. The view from the top was absolutely mesmerizing—I could see all of Paris spread out before me, a perfect way to take in the beauty of this city.
Canal Cruise & Sunset:
As the day went on, I decided to take a relaxing canal cruise to see Paris from a different perspective. The price for the cruise was €19, and it was totally worth it. The sunset views from the boat were beyond words—an unforgettable experience that left me speechless.
Eiffel Tower starts blinking at 9 pm every 5 min of an hour till 12 am.
Returning to Amsterdam:
After an incredible day, I headed to the FlixBus stop to catch my return journey back to Amsterdam. I felt so grateful for everything—being a solo traveler in Paris had been an amazing adventure, and everything went smoothly, from the buses to the landmarks I visited.
