What’s the deal? I’m pushing down and turning. Just don’t seem to catch the thread to open.

  2. I also bought from Amazon and it was near impossible to open. After I got it opened, I dropped superglue in between the 2 layers of the cap so that it’s not a child safe cap anymore.

  3. I was thinking the same. I ended up pressing down like a medical safety cap. Not sure if that was the trick or just a coincidence that it opened.

  4. No problems, and I’ve gone through about 10 of those little bottles. Press down as you turn. All child-proof caps are like that.

I bought one on Amazon and I believe the lid was broken on delivery. The bottle was tightly bound up with parafilm or similar.
The lid will on rest on the bottle and not screw down. Which isn’t ideal, but not worth making a fuss about either.

  6. Not just you, they suck. Hard.

I have the large siZe of the same dry lube and I don’t tighten it much at all, just make sure it stays upright.

  7. I have to turn it upside down on a hard surface and put my upper body weight on it just to get the ratchets to engage and not slip. World’s shittiest bottle hands down.

It’s not even good lube. Better than nothing of course but there are better and cheaper dry lubes like squirt and flower power

I think that’s the point. I usually keep chain lube in my bike toolbox I keep in my car and man, it really sucked when the bottle leaked and got all over all my tools. A lid like the one on this bottle normally prevents that from happening.
