Those bibs don’t look windproof, cycling gloves are generally too thin, and you should wear a thermal base layer.
I wear Castelli polare bibs (goretex infinium front shield), merino base layer, thermal jersey, castelli go jacket (windproof goretex infinium), and the most important part I’ve found is Oakley factory pilot snowboarding gloves. I’m comfortable down to 0 Celsius.
I also wear gripgrab polar overshoes (5mm neoprene)

mmmmmm this gives me local area vibe haha are you canadian ?
Maap isnāt great for cold weather below 5c. I learned the hard way prioritizing brand fashion/looks over form. Huge Maap fan too. Theyāre also a brand from Australia so it makes sense they donāt do very cold weather outfits very well. You need to go with Assos or another brand that actually makes proper thermal regulating winter cycling apparel, from Europe or something.

Iām in Vancouver and have done a few rides this season at -4C down to -10C. Like you, I have a lot of MAAP kit. Hereās everything Iāve been wearing to stay warm:
– MAAP Team Evo Thermal Bib Tight
– MAAP Force Pro Winter LS Jersey
– MAAP Team Base Layer (or MAAP Thermal Base Layer if temperatures drop, I have both vest and LS options)
– MAAP Deep Winter Neo Overshoes (and duct tape over the vents in my Lake shoes)
– MAAP Polartec Team Neck Warmer and MAAP Skull Cap (both are awesome)
– Fingerscrossed Deep Winter Gloves (these are lobster gloves, really happy with them)
– DeFeet Woolie Boolie 6ā socks)
I also store an extra couple of gloves to change layers if temperatures increase or Iām warming up. Iām usually riding with Castelli Spettacolo RoS gloves and Castelli Perfetto RoS gloves as options. And wearing Arcāteryx Gothic liner gloves when needed.
I start the rides with a Castelli Go commuter Jacket over my MAAP winter jersey, which I stash once I get warmer. Anything Iām not wearing is stored in a MAAP x Apidura saddle pack (7L).
